First up, this class is free to all qualifying silver sneaker community members. 

Silver Sneakers and Functional Fitness is a health and fitness program for adults 65 and older that offers a variety of classes to improve   cardiovascular and muscular endurance, strength, and flexibility. 


At TBC Wellness Center, we use a highly personable and social environment to get our seniors moving!  The atmosphere is warm and inviting with a certified personal training instructor in each class.  Safety and quality service is our highest of priorities to our community members.  


 TBC Wellness Center LLC.  has designed an innovative workout routine dedicated to our elder community. We are the only facility in Northern Michigan that holds classes dedicated to them through the Silver Sneaker, One-Pass, and Active Recovery programs.    

Our group fitness classes are perfect for anyone who wants to stay motivated and have fun while getting in shape. We offer a variety of classes to suit all fitness levels.

This class is focused on a variety of senior physical health benefits.  Our senior classes are always certified personal trainer led for safety and quality of each class.

Types Of Class Experiences

Each of our senior functional fitness classes are designed by certified personal trainers with extensive experience and all of our classes incorporate: 


Silver Sneakers Circuit: In Person movements involving standing that alternates upper-body strength work with low-impact cardio. Recommended equipment includes   handheld weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a Silver Sneakers   ball.


Silver Sneakers Classic:  In-Person movements that focus on strengthening muscles, increasing range of movement, and using a chair for seated exercises or standing support. Recommended equipment includes a chair, soft play ball, handheld weights, and resistance tubing with handles. 


Silver Sneakers BOOM Move: In-Person movements that improve cardio endurance and burns calories with a higher intensity dance workout. 


Silver Sneakers BOOM Muscle: In-Person Movements that improves upper body   conditioning with athletic-based exercises. Silver Sneakers classes are suitable for all fitness   levels and encourage you to go at your own pace. 


In each class, you can define your goals and any of your physical ailments to the certified trainer for quick routine adjustments in real time.
